Bengal Tigger?

Momma tells me I must have a Bengal cat in my lineage:

If that means I get to attack Milo, then I'm a Bengal!

More Milo

I'm not sure which is better, playing with this banana toy or staring at Pumpkin's butt.

The Milo Show

Milo is the baby of the family and in true youngest child behavior, he loves attention.

Momma, I'm talking to you:

I could karate chop you with my back leg:

Here Momma, kiss my paw. I know you want to:

(Yes Momma did kiss that paw; who could resist Milo?)

Kitty Similarities

Milo is starting to look like Aleah. Granted there are differences, but the patch of white fur is in the same place and we think as Milo gets older he will continue to look more like his step sister:

Kitten Play by Play

Pumpkin: What do you have Tigger?

Pumpkin: Here let me help you play.

Milo enters:

Pumpkin and Tigger: Momma, are you going to do anything about Milo?

Fine, we will all just lay here and look at you.

Kittens Discover Camera

It has been well documented on this blog that the kittens are quite savvy with the latest technology, particularly the iPad. It didn't take them long to realize they could have great fun with Momma's cell phone too. Pumpkin is the first to spy that the phone looks an awful lot like a miniature iPad.

Hey lemme see that:
Not wanting Pumpkin to have all the fun, Tigger makes a grab for it too.

Hey gimme that:

The phone is now on the ground and Momma switches the camera mode so the kittens can see themselves. It takes Pumpkin all of 10 seconds to realize where the button is to take a picture. Here are a few of her self-portraits:
Tigger of course must show Pumpkin that he can do anything his sister can do, so he is the next to learn how to take a picture:

Milo wasn't as enthralled with the phone as his siblings but his ear does make it into one of the pictures Pumpkin took:
If these kittens learned how to take pictures on a phone in a matter of seconds, can you image what these three are going to be like when they are adults?

Reunited and it Feels so Good

Miss Pumpkin and Mister Milo stayed the night with Tigger! The three siblings have been separated for three weeks so Momma made sure their first act of togetherness was eating dinner:
Then there was some quality time with the iPad:
Tigger was a little aggressive with Milo at first, but the brothers eventually cuddle up together to share a drink:
And then there is this sweet moment when Tigger says Pumpkin, I really missed you:

Distracting the Kittens

Back when Tigger had to have his second surgery, Daddy did his best to distract Pumpkin and Milo from the fact that their brother was missing. He went for the shameless "entertain them with technology" trick by placing an iPad, loaded with cat apps, in front of them. What he didn't realize is it turned out to be like kitty crack and he couldn't take it away from them:
Pumpkin is by far the best at these games:
Later that night, Daddy said to Momma: "How bad is it that I want to buy an iPad for the kittens?" Momma replied: "Very bad" and gave the kittens a plastic milk cap which they loved playing with.

Kitten Recovery

The kittens have been at our house since Thursday and as you read yesterday Tigger is having a rough time. Here is our poor little man taking it easy and showing a little of his shaved belly:
Tigger is still on pain medicine and had fluids and antibiotics administered Sunday. Please keep this sweet boy in your prayers.

Pumpkin is not very shy about showing anyone her shaved belly. She has such a sweet dispostion and is doing remarkably well. She feels quite comfortable in her carrier and prefers to take naps inside it:

Finally there is Milo... he's the only one without a shaved belly and therefore nothing has slowed him down. He adores all the attention and love he's getting every day:

Kitten Surgery Update

Thankfully Milo, Pumpkin, and Tigger did great with their surgeries and now starts the recovery phase. They even got to see their brother Linus and sister Lucy!

Tigger had to have two kitten teeth extracted because those teeth are to fall out on their own and have not done so yet. Therefore in order to prevent potential problems in the future, they had to be removed. That poor little man is hurting on both ends!

Momma got to visit them yesterday afternoon and although they were still a tad loopy, they all responded to Momma's voice and she got to comfort them. The vet techs said that Pumpkin has been a little angel, not causing any trouble; Tigger has been very brave but still hadn't cleared the drug fog out of his sweet head when Momma was there; Mister Milo has been a terror. He insists on throwing every last piece of litter out of the pan, as well as knocking over every water bowl placed in front of him, and then there is his penchant for ripping off all bandages, collars, or anything else attached to his body. Can you tell he is the baby of the family?

Now for the great news from Momma's and the kittens' perspective and quite disturbing in Abbi and Aleah's mind: the kittens are coming to our house to recover!!! As soon as they are feeling better, they will post some pictures.

Wordy Wednesday

Take a look back with me to see how small the kittens were in July. Milo is on the bottom right and Tigger is middle right:

Now here are Milo, Pumpkin, and Tigger in September:

Can you believe how big they are getting?

Please say a prayer for these sweet babies as they undergo their neuter and spay surgeries today!
